About vuejs.school
A free school for Vue.js, with an AI instructor. 110 short lessons in 17 tracks take you from your first component to Nuxt in production, each with code you can run, a tutor who teaches it out loud, and a quiz at the end that comes back until it sticks.
What you find here
One routine: read a lesson, run its code, pass the quiz, and come back when a review is due. Twenty minutes a day is enough.
Short lessons with code you run
Each lesson teaches one idea: a plain tutorial, one diagram, and its code in a playground you can edit and run in the browser.
Leo, the 3D tutor
Leo talks you through every lesson and types the code as he goes. His voice runs on your own device, and nothing loads until you press Start.
Quizzes that come back
Three questions end each lesson, from a reviewed bank with a note for every option. What you miss returns in practice, spaced out until it sticks.
Games that run real Vue
Order the lifecycle hooks, predict whether a click re-renders, hunt the bug. Every answer is checked against Vue itself, not a script.
An instructor you can ask
Stuck? Ask in plain words from any lesson. The free instructor knows where you are on the page; or use your own API key. Or switch AI off: everything still works.
A blog and a jobs board
Tutorials and release notes twice a week, and real Vue and Nuxt roles matched to the tracks you have finished.

How it is made
The school is free and open source. These three things do not change.
Written with AI, checked by people
The lessons, quizzes, games and posts are written with AI and checked by hand before they reach you. Every one of those pages has a "Give feedback" button, and the notes change what the next reader sees.
- See the sponsors
Free, because sponsors pay for it
There is no paywall and no premium tier. Companies that hire Vue developers sponsor the school; every ad is checked by hand and marked as one, and sponsors add no scripts to the site.
- Your privacy choices
No account, nothing about you
Your progress and your review schedule live in your own browser. The site counts visits without a cookie, and Google Analytics runs only if you say yes. Your AI key, if you use one, goes to your provider and nowhere else.
What the lessons teach
Vue 3.5 and the Composition API in script setup, the combination the Vue documentation recommends; Nuxt 4 where a lesson touches Nuxt.
When a new release changes what a lesson shows, the lesson is updated and its questions reviewed again. The blog says what changed.
In English, for people new to Vue and for working developers with gaps. Every term is explained the first time it appears.
